Joy!

The population of bees is rapidly decreasing, and researchers believe this is linked to the extensive use of mobile phones. Although it may seem hard to find a link between the two, it’s speculated that the large amount of radiation given off by mobile phones interferes with a bee’s navigation system, making it hard for them to find their way back home to their hives. As the bees’ sense of direction fails, the effect is a reduction in pollination, which could lead to food shortages. Researchers have backed up this theory by studying the change in bees' behaviour when around power lines. So next time a lost bee asks to use your mobile, say no!
